Sailing holds a special place in my heart. My love for sailing started when I was 18. Since then, I feel some nostalgia, a fear of missing out whenever I see a sailboat. Just looking at the endless blue sea makes me feel like I need to be out there on the water.

And what other way than photography, to make these memories freeze in time to remember whenever I feel this way. For this photo series, I got my inspiration from the special artists “Dire Straits”, I would listen to their songs about the sea and sailing whenever I was in Marmaris, sailing with friends.
